Job Summary
Perform cardiovascular procedures including cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertions, arteriograms, venograms, angioplasty, and vascular studies. Monitor patients during procedures, prepare test results and data for review, and assist with pre and post procedure management according to Lab guidelines. Utilize equipment such as cardiac output machines, ECG machines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and cine film processors. Requires current Maryland licensure, ARRT registry, and CPR certification, with IV certification within 90 days. Salary ranges from $42.33 to $69.88 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current radiologic technologist licensure in the State of Maryland
- Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of cardiovascular lab experience
- ACLS certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Certified Interventional Technologist (CIT)
- IV certification by HCGH within ninety (90) days of hire date
