Job Summary
Perform a variety of technical and patient-oriented duties during cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertions, arteriograms, venograms, digital subtractions, vascular studies, nephrostograms, angioplasty, and other related studies. Utilize monitoring equipment, surgical instruments, cardiac output machines, pulse oximeters, ECG machines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and cine film processors to conduct invasive procedures, monitor patients, prepare test results, and assist with pre- and post-procedure management according to Lab guidelines. Requires current Maryland licensure, ARRT registry, CPR certification, and IV certification within 90 days of hire. Salary ranges from $42.33 to $69.88 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current radiologic technologist licensure in the State of Maryland
- Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Current CPR certification
- IV certification by HCGH within ninety (90) days of hire date
- Authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship required)
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of cardiovascular lab experience
- ACLS certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Certified Interventional Technologist (CIT)
