Job Summary
Perform cardiovascular procedures including cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertions, arteriograms, and angioplasty while monitoring patients and preparing test results. Assist with pre- and post-procedure management according to lab guidelines and operate equipment such as cardiac output machines, cine film processors, and intra-aortic balloon pumps. Requires current Maryland licensure, ARRT registry, and ACLS certification, with IV certification within 90 days. Offers a 266-bed acute care setting at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center with tuition assistance, free parking, and a salary range of $42.33 to $69.88 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current radiologic technologist licensure in the State of Maryland
- Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of cardiovascular lab experience
- ACLS certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Certified Interventional Technologist (CIT)
- IV certification by HCGH within ninety (90) days of hire date
