Job Summary
Perform cardiovascular procedures including cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertions, arteriograms, and angioplasty while monitoring patients, preparing test results, and managing pre- and post-procedure care according to lab guidelines. Utilize specialized equipment such as cardiac output machines, ECG monitors, and intra-aortic balloon pumps to execute invasive studies and vascular assessments. Requires current Maryland licensure, ARRT registry, and ACLS certification with IV certification within 90 days of hire. Salary ranges from $42.33 to $69.88 hourly. No sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current radiologic technologist licensure in the State of Maryland
- Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of cardiovascular lab experience
- ACLS certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Certified Interventional Technologist (CIT)
- IV certification by HCGH within ninety (90) days of hire date
