Job Summary
Perform cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertions, arteriograms, venograms, angioplasty, and other cardiovascular studies while monitoring patients and managing invasive procedures. Operate equipment including cardiac output machines, ECG units, and cine film processors to prepare test results and data for review. Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient management according to lab guidelines. Requires current Maryland licensure, ARRT registry, and CPR/ACLS certification, with IV certification within 90 days. Salary ranges from $42.33 to $69.88 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current radiologic technologist licensure in the State of Maryland
- Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of cardiovascular lab experience
- ACLS certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Certified Interventional Technologist (CIT)
- IV certification by HCGH within ninety (90) days of hire date
