Job Summary
Perform invasive procedures in the Cardiovascular Diagnostic Laboratory while coordinating care as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. Manage day-to-day responsibilities including conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures for conditions such as congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, and heart failure across eleven procedure rooms. Requires current BLS/ACLS certification, ARR T registration, and Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance licensure. Full-time day shift with on-call and weekend rotation required. Sign-on bonus of $15,000 available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic Technology
- Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance as a Radiology Tech
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- CVRT I: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required within 1 year from the end of orientation date
- Must pass JHH Arrhythmia Course and Exam before recording independently
- CVRT II: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required
- Current PALS Certification is required if in pediatric cardiology
- Must pass the JHH Arrhythmia Recognition exam annually
- On-Call and Weekend work is required

- Advanced certification is encouraged
- CI or CV registry is encouraged
- In Electrophysiology, RCES registry and HRS certification is encouraged
