Job Summary
Perform invasive procedures, coordinate care, and participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary team within the Cardiovascular Diagnostic Laboratory. Operate across cardiology, radiology, and electrophysiology areas to treat conditions including congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, and heart failure across eleven procedure rooms. Requires current BLS/ACLS certification, Maryland Board of Physicians licensure, and ARRT registration. Full-time day shift (7:00am–5:30pm) with on-call and weekend work required. Minimum hourly salary of $42.33.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic Technology
- Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance as a Radiology Tech
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- CVRT I: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required within 1 year from the end of orientation date
- CVRT I: Must pass JHH Arrhythmia Course and Exam before recording independently
- CVRT II: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required
- CVRT II: Current PALS Certification is required if in pediatric cardiology
- CVRT II: Must pass the JHH Arrhythmia Recognition exam annually
- On-Call and Weekend work is required
- Authorization to Work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- AA degree preferred
- No direct cardiology experience required
- New grads encouraged to apply
- Advanced certification (CVRT I) is encouraged
- CI or CV registry is encouraged
- RCES registry is encouraged
- HRS certification is encouraged
