Job Summary
Assist physicians with cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by operating x-ray and physiological equipment, including C-Arm and angiographic injectors. Monitor and record patient vital signs throughout exams while maintaining sterile techniques and adhering to radiation safety standards. Perform preventive maintenance on cardiac cath equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and complete necessary documentation and forms for each special procedure. Clean and disinfect equipment after every patient use and keep the special procedures room stocked. Requires an ARRT-R license, state RT license, and current Fluoroscopy license in California. Full-time variable shift employment with on-call rotation. Adventist Health Tulare serves the Central Valley community with a 108-bed acute care facility and emergency department.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
- Current Fluoroscopy license
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- One year's catheterization experience
