Job Summary
Assist physicians with cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnostic procedures by operating x-ray and physiological equipment, including C-Arm and angiographic injectors. Monitor and record patient vital signs, maintain proper sterile techniques, and ensure radiation safety during invasive and non-invasive tests. Operate, record, and maintain all cardiac cath equipment while performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Complete procedure forms, charge records, and perform general office duties such as stocking supplies and disinfecting equipment. Requires an ARRT-R license, current Fluoroscopy license, and BLS certification. Full-time variable shift employment at Adventist Health Tulare in Tulare, CA.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography ARRT-R
- Radiologic Tech RT in the state of practice
- Current Fluoroscopy license in CA within 6 months of hire
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR certification or Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgment of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- One year's catheterization experience
