Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, Full time day shift

Job Summary

Conduct invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems by operating x-ray and physiological equipment. Assist physicians with procedures, including catheterization, while monitoring patient vital signs and administering opaque media via catheter or direct injection. Maintain cardiac cath equipment such as C-Arm and angiographic injectors, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and daily room disinfection. Monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs throughout procedures while strictly adhering to radiation safety standards and aseptic techniques. Complete procedure forms, record charges, and act as a resource for specialized cases by sharing improvements with team members. Requires ARRT-R license, OBMI license, and AHA-ACLS certification.

Required Qualifications

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography ARRT-R
  • Oregon Board of Medical Imaging OBMI Radiologic Technologist License
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR certification
  • Basic Life Support BLS certification
  • AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
  • All required vaccinations
  • E-Verify participation

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree
  • One year's catheterization experience
