Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, Full time day shift

Job Summary
Conduct invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems by operating x-ray and physiological equipment. Assist physicians with procedures, administer opaque media via catheter, and monitor patient vital signs while maintaining strict radiation safety and sterile techniques. Operate cardiac cath equipment including C-Arm and angiographic injectors, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot malfunctions. Complete procedure forms, record charges, and maintain daily cleanliness of the special procedures room. Requires ARRT-R license, OBMI license, and ACLS/ALS certification. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Portland's Heart Center.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography ARRT-R license
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging OBMI Radiologic Technologist License
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR certification or Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- One year's catheterization experience
