Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, Full time day shift

Job Summary
Conduct invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems by operating x-ray and physiological equipment. Assist physicians with procedures, administer opaque media via catheter, and monitor patient vital signs while maintaining radiation safety and sterile techniques. Operate cardiac cath equipment including C-Arm and angiographic injectors, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot malfunctions. Complete procedure forms, record charges, and ensure daily cleaning of special procedures rooms. Requires an ARRT-R license, OBMI license, ACLS/ALS certification, and one year of catheterization experience. Full-time day shift at Adventist Health Portland's 302-bed medical center.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography ARRT-R license
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging OBMI Radiologic Technologist License
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR certification or Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- One year's catheterization experience
