Job Summary
Aids physicians in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems. Operates x-ray and physiological equipment; assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; maintains equipment and records test results. Responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, maintaining sterile technique, ensuring radiation safety, and assisting with cath procedures including equipment such as C-Arm and angiographic injectors. Completes procedure documentation, orders and records, and performs general office duties as requested; maintains clean and stocked work areas. Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, ARRT-R certification, OR state license, CPR/BLS, and ACLS. Ensures compliance with vaccination requirements and E-Verify participation.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License: Required in OR
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
