Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, Full time day shift

Job Summary
Assist physicians with cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by operating x-ray and physiological equipment, including C-Arm and angiographic injectors. Monitor and record patient vital signs throughout exams, administer opaque media via catheter or direct injection, and maintain sterile techniques in accordance with infection control protocols. Operate, record, and maintain cardiac cath equipment while performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and cleaning/disinfecting rooms after each patient use. Complete procedure forms, charge records appropriately, and keep the special procedures room stocked. Requires ARRT-R, OBMI license, ACLS/ALS certification, and one year of catheterization experience. Full-time day shift at Adventist Health Portland's Heart Center.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- One year's catheterization experience
