Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist, Full time day shift

Job Summary
Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures by operating x-ray and physiological equipment, including C-Arm and angiographic injectors. Monitor patient vital signs, administer opaque media via catheter, and maintain strict radiation safety and sterile techniques throughout exams. Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on cardiac cath equipment while completing procedure documentation and daily room sanitation. Requires ARRT-R license, OBMI certification, and ACLS/ALS credentials. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Portland's 302-bed medical center.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R)
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- all required vaccinations

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- One year's catheterization experience
