Job Summary
Assist physicians with cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by operating x-ray and physiological equipment, including C-Arm and angiographic injectors. Monitor and evaluate patient vital signs throughout exams while maintaining sterile techniques and adhering to radiation safety standards. Operate, record, and maintain cardiac cath equipment, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions. Complete procedural forms, charge records, and ensure the special procedures room is stocked and disinfected after each patient use. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification, current Fluoroscopy license, and AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification. Located in Kings County, Adventist Health Hanford.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography ARRT-R
- Radiologic Tech RT in the state of practice
- Current Fluoroscopy license in CA within 6 months of hire
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR certification or Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- One year's catheterization experience
