Job Summary
Assist physicians with cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by operating x-ray and physiological equipment, including C-Arm and angiographic injectors. Monitor and record patient vital signs, administer opaque media via catheter, and maintain sterile techniques throughout exams. Perform preventive maintenance on cardiac cath equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and complete daily cleaning of the special procedures room. Record test results, charges, and procedure forms while adhering to radiation safety and infection control protocols. Requires ARRT-R certification, current Fluoroscopy license, and AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS. Located in Hanford, CA, with a 173-bed hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography ARRT-R
- Radiologic Tech RT in the state of practice
- Current Fluoroscopy license in CA within 6 months of hire
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR certification or Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation and acknowledgment of Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- One year's catheterization experience
