Cardiovascular Lab Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation, and electrophysiology studies to assist physicians in highly specialized cardiovascular procedures. Maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and hold required BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Obtain RCIS, RCES, or ARRT with post-primary cardiac-interventional radiography certification within 18 months of hire. Work in a Level III trauma center and STEMI cardiac receiving environment with variable schedules including on-call rotations on select nights and weekends within a 30-minute radius.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Must obtain within 18 months: RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Or RCES, Or ARRT with post primary certification of Cardiac- Interventional Radiography through the ARRT
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
