Job Summary
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while maintaining sterile techniques and adhering to clinical protocols. Operate advanced cardiovascular equipment safely, monitor patient status, and adapt to changing conditions as necessary. Record, calculate, and verify data for physician review, ensuring accuracy in treatment plans, evaluation results, and progress reports. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation in line with department standards, support patient positioning and monitoring, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless workflow. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with best practices and regulatory standards. Requires RCIS certification, BCLS, and ACLS; offers $10,000 sign-on bonus and student loan repayment.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in cardiovascular or invasive procedures
- Comprehensive understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and procedural protocols
- Proficiency in operating advanced cardiovascular equipment and adhering to sterile techniques
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, acute care setting
- Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in data recording and patient documentation
- RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist from the National Board of Cardiovascular Technology
- BCLS - Basic Life Support obtained within 90 days of hire
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

- Certified Radiology Technologists with Cath Lab experience
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists (RCIS)
- Cardiovascular Technologists (CVT) trained in the Cath Lab
