Job Summary
Inova Fairfax Medical Center seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 2 for the Interventional Radiology team, responsible for patient care, assessments, and care delivery efficiency. Requires certifications and nursing licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support certification upon start
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification upon start
- Registered in one of the following: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Radiologic Technologist Vascular Interventional Radiology (RTR VI), Radiologic Technologist Cardiovascular (RTR CV) or Radiologic Technologist Cardiovascular Interventional (RTR CI)
- or at least 5 years of Interventional Radiology Tech experience with active RTR registry
- or a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Registered Nurse licensure upon start if not possessing one of the above registries
- One year of experience in interventional Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab performing Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist duties or equivalent experience
