Job Summary
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse Manager responsible for daily operations of the designated clinical area, advocating for resources to promote efficient, safe and high-quality cardiovascular/critical care nursing. Leads integration of clinical, human resources and financial data to support decision making, promotes research and evidence-based practice, and ensures compliance with regulatory and professional standards. Demonstrates leadership through supervision and coordination of clinical care, collaborates with nursing leadership on planning and initiatives, supports staff development, participates as part of the Mission Health culture, and recruits and retains colleagues to maintain a growth-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or equivalent (ADN with MSN, BA with MSN)
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Current RN licensure with North Carolina Board of Nursing
- eNLC license may apply; confirm with NCBON
- National Certification in area of specialty within one year of accepting role
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- Minimum five years of recent nursing experience; 2 years in relevant clinical hospital experience with leadership
- Previous leadership experience (preferred)
