Job Summary
Provide high-acuity care for post-operative cardiothoracic surgery patients in a 16-bed CTICU, managing complex cases including ECMO and VAD support. Deliver 24/7 coverage within a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, PAs, NPs, and nurses, collaborating closely with operating cardiac surgeons to ensure continuity. Demonstrate excellent clinical judgment while participating in teaching and training activities for students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers. Board certified in critical care with an active Pennsylvania license required. Join a high-volume, nationally recognized cardiac surgery program at Lankenau Heart Institute, supporting minimally invasive and robotic procedures alongside active clinical trials.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility
- Strong clinical background in cardiothoracic critical care
