Job Summary
Provide high-acuity care for post-operative cardiothoracic surgery patients in a 16-bed CTICU, managing complex cases including ECMO and VAD support. Deliver 24/7 coverage within a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, PAs, NPs, and nurses. Collaborate with operating cardiac surgeons to ensure continuity of care and foster effective teamwork across surgical and critical care units. Participate in teaching and training activities for students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers. This role supports a high-volume, nationally recognized cardiothoracic surgical program featuring extensive minimally invasive and robotic procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility
- Strong clinical background in cardiothoracic critical care
