Job Summary
Provide high-acuity postoperative cardiovascular/critical care in a 16-bed CTICU for a high-volume cardiothoracic program. Deliver 24/7 coverage within a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, PAs, NPs, and critical care nurses; manage patients requiring advanced mechanical circulatory support (ECMO, VAD); collaborate closely with operating cardiac surgeons to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes; contribute to education and training of students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers; participate in minimally invasive and robotic cardiac procedures (robotic CABG, mini-MV, mini-SAVR) and catheter-based interventions (TAVR, TMVR, TEVAR); be involved in ongoing clinical trials and innovation at a quaternary referral center.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility
- Strong clinical background in cardiothoracic critical care
