Job Summary
Diagnose and treat adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions through patient history, physical assessment, and interpretation of diagnostic studies. Split clinical time between telemetry and clinic settings to provide direct treatment, manage referrals, and document care per specialty standards. Collaborate with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams to expand healthcare services for the regional population. Participate in staff and student orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited training program
- Board certification by the respective accreditation body
- Physician Assistant with board certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Licensed through the Texas Medical Board
- Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority
- Board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Licensed through the Texas Board of Nursing
