Job Summary
Conduct cardiovascular and thoracic assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and manage patient care across telemetry floors and clinics. Provide direct treatment using prescriptive authority or coordinate referrals to community resources while documenting all processes per network policy. Split clinical time between in-patient and out-patient settings to deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with supervising physicians. Participate in staff orientation and education. Requires board certification and relevant clinical experience; salary ranges from $90.50/hr. based on qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited training program
- Board certification by the respective accreditation body
- Physician Assistant with board certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Licensed through the Texas Medical Board
- Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority
- Board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Licensed through the Texas Board of Nursing
