Job Summary
Cardiovascular ICU Nocturnal PRN Advanced Practice Provider needed at Dell Medical School/Ascension Texas in Carmel, IN. The ADVANCED PRACTICE NURSE PRACTITIONER or PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT will split clinical time between the telemetry floor and the clinic, diagnosing and treating adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions, performing histories and exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, providing prescriptive care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role includes staff education, orientation, and adherence to specialty standards and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited training program
- board certified by NCCPA (for Physician Assistant) and licensed through the Texas Medical Board
- APN with Prescriptive Authority and board certification through AANPCB or ANCC and licensed through Texas Board of Nursing
