Cardiovascular ICU Nocturnal Advanced Practice Provider

Diagnose and treat adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians. Staff the ICU and cross cover the telemetry ward, providing patient-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies while obtaining patient histories and conducting health assessments. Counsel patients and families on treatment options and community resources, and document care delivery in accordance with specialty standards. Participate in orientation and education of staff and students. This role supports the Institute for Cardiovascular Health at Dell Medical School and Ascension Texas, serving the regional adult population with adult cardiovascular and thoracic surgical care.
