Job Summary
Diagnose and treat adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions while staffing the ICU and cross-covering the telemetry ward. Collaborate with supervising physicians to provide patient-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Obtain patient histories, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and document care delivery per specialty standards. Counsel patients and families on treatment options and community resources. Participate in orientation and education of staff and students. Requires Texas Medical Board or Texas Board of Nursing credentials, prescriptive authority, and acute care nursing specialization. Salary starts at $125,000.
Required Qualifications
- Physician's Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing
- Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority specializing in Cardiac Critical Care
- Credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing in Acute Care nursing
