Cardiovascular ICU Nocturnal Advanced Practice Provider

Diagnose and treat adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians. Staff the ICU and cross cover the telemetry ward, providing patient-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Obtain patient histories, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and manage conditions via prescriptive authority or referrals. Counsel patients and families on treatment options and community resources while documenting care according to specialty standards. Participate in staff and student orientation. Requires Texas Medical Board or Texas Board of Nursing credentials, Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner status with prescriptive authority, and Acute Care nursing credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing. Salary range starts at $125,000.
