Diagnose and treat adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions while staffing the ICU and cross-covering the telemetry ward. Collaborate with supervising physicians to provide patient-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Obtain patient histories, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and deliver direct treatment using prescriptive authority. Counsel patients and families on treatment options and community resources, while documenting care according to specialty standards and network policy. Participate in staff and student orientation.
