Cardiovascular ICU Nocturnal Advanced Practice Provider

Diagnose and treat adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions in the ICU while cross-covering the telemetry ward. Provide direct treatment and management via prescriptive authority or referral, and counsel patients and families on treatment options and community resources. Obtain patient histories, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and document care in accordance with specialty standards. Participate in orientation and education of staff and students. This role supports the Institute for Cardiovascular Health at Dell Medical School and Ascension Texas, serving the regional adult population with multidisciplinary care.
