Cardiovascular ICU Nocturnal Advanced Practice Provider

Diagnose and treat adult cardiovascular and thoracic conditions while staffing the ICU and cross-covering the telemetry ward. Obtain patient histories, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and provide direct treatment using prescriptive authority. Counsel patients and families on treatment options and community resources, while documenting care in accordance with specialty standards and network policies. Participate in orientation and education of staff and students. This role supports the Institute for Cardiovascular Health at Dell Medical School and Ascension Texas, delivering world-class adult cardiovascular and thoracic surgical care to the regional population.
