Job Summary
Perform echocardiography exams to capture images of the heart's chambers, valves, and vessels and to assist in diagnosing heart conditions; collaborate with the cardiology team to share findings that guide patient care; interview and prepare patients for heart exams; conduct stress testing from resting to treadmill protocols; leverage ultrasound equipment and knowledge of heart anatomy and ultrasound technology to produce high-quality images; certifications such as Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer are encouraged but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or associate's degree in Echocardiography or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography
