Job Summary
Full-time Cardiovascular Critical Care Physician sought to join AHN in the Pittsburgh area. Responsibilities include delivering high-acuity cardiovascular care with pre- and postoperative management, heart transplant and/or ventricular assist device support, acute mechanical circulatory support, and management of cardiogenic shock. Clinical duties include multidisciplinary rounding of intensive care patients within a 24-bed CT surgical ICU, and management of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical patients, including post-liver transplant cases. Well supported by APP coverage; opportunities for CME and comprehensive benefits are offered.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with completed ACGME-accredited critical care fellowship
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care
- Pennsylvania Licensure in good standing upon hire
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Critical Care
