Job Summary
Cardiovascular Care Technician provides patient rooming, performs 12-lead EKGs, ambulatory BP monitor placements, and prepares charts for upcoming appointments. Helps prepare devices for interpreter use, processes records, scans, copies, and faxes, answers internal calls, maintains and restocks clinical areas, ensures equipment is functional, and supports clinical safety (including crash cart checks). Participates with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses to deliver timely cardiovascular care, educates patients and families on diagnostic testing and lifestyle modifications, and assists with program development. Requires relevant healthcare degree or CMA/externship experience with Basic Life Support certification. Shift involves day hours, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with no weekends. The role emphasizes collaboration across clinical teams, patient education on cardiovascular issues, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked clinic environment.
