Cardiovascular Care Registered Nurse

Assess, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individualized patient care on a nursing unit/department; provides supervision of non-RN personnel; serves as Charge Nurse; demonstrates competency in Neuro patient care, Neuro assessment, airway management of Neuro patients, and caring for patients during special Neuro procedures, including pharyngeal, endotracheal, and tracheostomy suctioning, and ventilator care. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, communicate and document a Plan of Care, evaluates effectiveness and readiness for discharge, provides educational opportunities, and performs other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation of the department/unit. Also accountable to meet performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, resource utilization, and staff and self development.
