Job Summary
Provide weekend cardiothoracic surgery coverage with 24-hour non-restrictive call responsibilities from Friday through Monday morning. Conduct comprehensive patient rounding on the CVICU, manage all CT surgery-related cases with a 30-minute recall requirement, and handle emergency department consultations. Collaborate with one surgeon and two physician associates using the EPIC EMR system while averaging eight patients daily. Vein harvesting certification and Georgia medical licensure are mandatory requirements for this locums assignment. The facility maintains modern equipment including specialized CVICU care with dedicated floor and OR nursing staff.
