Job Summary
Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant needed for locum tenens coverage in Brownwood, TX. Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery first assist services during day shifts with on-call coverage. Role requires perioperative patient management, surgical case coordination, and postoperative care delivery using EPIC EMR. Daily duties include assisting with cardiovascular surgical procedures, managing patient care throughout the surgical continuum, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. Requires prescriptive authority and availability for emergency surgical consultations and interventions as needed by the trauma service line. Travel and lodging expenses are provided.
