Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Associate Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage atOR in Indiana

Provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and operating room settings, including morning rounding on 5 to 8 patients, updating care plans, writing orders, and coordinating with the multidisciplinary team. Perform post-operative tasks such as chest tube and pacing wire removal, wound care, and discharge planning. Serve as first assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures and perform vein harvesting using the Maquet system. Manage approximately 10 outpatient consults daily. Work weekdays Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, followed by night call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and 24-hour call on weekends. Maintain all clinical documentation through the EPIC EMR system.
