Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Associate Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at OR in Indiana

Job Summary
Provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and operating room settings from Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, followed by night call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM and 24-hour weekend call. Morning rounding includes 5 to 8 patients, care plan updates, order writing, and coordination with the multidisciplinary team. Perform post-operative tasks such as chest tube and pacing wire removal, wound care, and discharge planning. Serve as first assist in cardiothoracic procedures and perform vein harvesting using the Maquet system. Manage approximately 10 outpatient consults daily with all documentation maintained in the EPIC EMR system.

- Call Required
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
