Job Summary
Cardiothoracic surgery coverage by a Physician Associate (PA) for a 6-12 month locum contract in an inpatient Level 1 trauma facility. Responsibilities include 8-hour day shifts with potential call and 24-hour call, autonomous management of approximately 10 inpatients per day, and documentation in the EPIC EMR for all encounters and procedures. Board certification is required. Location-based on-site duties in Hartford and Rocky Hill, CT, with no new graduates considered.
