Job Summary
Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant needed for 6-month locum assignment in Northern California. Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage with 24-hour call, including surgery first assist, hospital rounding, and charting duties. Perform procedures such as CABG, AVR, and lung procedures with continuous availability for emergencies. Daily responsibilities include managing surgical cases and ensuring accurate documentation; collaborate with the surgical team to maintain continuity of care across the cardiothoracic service line. Assignment details: 4 shifts per month, on-site at Friant, CA. Prescriptive authority not required.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Assistant (PA) for cardiothoracic surgery
- Board Certification Preference Negotiable
- Inpatient surgical coverage experience preferred
