Job Summary
Conduct cardiothoracic surgery procedures including femoral vein harvesting, supported by VA & VV ECMO, Impella, and IABP. Manage shared CVICU responsibilities alongside dedicated critical care APPs for on-pump, off-pump, hybrid, and MICS CABG cases. Utilize Epic EMR while engaging in teaching opportunities within a program performing 250+ cardiac surgeries annually. Work a flexible 4-day week with paid call compensation. Join a growing advanced cardiothoracic program offering relocation assistance and a $4,000 annual CME allowance.
Required Qualifications
- NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited PA program
- Prior Cardiothoracic Surgery PA experience
- New York license or eligibility
- Experience with femoral vein harvesting
Desired Qualifications
- Radial harvesting experience
- Robotic surgery experience
- Five years of CTS experience
