Job Summary
Provide experienced cardiothoracic surgery support with immediate availability for operating room coverage. First-assist on cardiac surgery cases, perform endoscopic vein harvesting with Terumo and Hemopro systems, and conduct radial artery harvesting procedures. Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care across inpatient units, operating rooms, and emergency departments while coordinating treatment plans. Collaborate with surgical teams and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requires comprehensive call coverage including nights and weekends with a 1:6 call schedule. No board certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Cardiothoracic surgery support experience
- Immediate availability for operating room coverage
- First-assisting on cardiac surgery cases
- Performing endoscopic vein harvesting with Terumo and Hemopro systems
- Conducting radial artery harvesting procedures
- Comprehensive call coverage including nights and weekends with a 1:6 call schedule
