Job Summary
Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner needed for locum tenens coverage at a Kentucky facility. Responsible for comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage with first assisting in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resections; manage OR duties, telemetry, and ICU responsibilities across care settings. Commitment includes 1-2 call days per week and one weekend per month (7 AM Friday to 7 AM Monday). On-site location in Lebanon, KY. Requires board certification and prescriptive authority. Assignment specifics: inpatient, OR, 24-hour call; dates include May 31 through June (June 6-8 critical) and July 20-26; 24-hour call shift type; location on-site; governed by locum tenens terms.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification Required: Yes
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Cardiothoracic surgery coverage experience preferred
- First assisting proficiency in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases
- Prescriptive Authority Required: Yes
