Job Summary
Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner needed for locum-tenens coverage at an on-site Washington hospital facility. Inpatient assignment with night shifts and a 24-hour call. Board-certified NP to provide inpatient cardiothoracic surgical coverage. Required procedures include general CV/thoracic surgery (open), coronary artery bypass grafting on pump, and valvular repair/replacement. Preferred procedures include aneurysm repair (cardiac and aorto-thoracic), lung resection (including VATS), chest wall/pleural procedures, left ventricular assist devices, ventilation management, management of acute volume and blood pressure issues, and insertion of central lines. Location: Malaga, WA, US. This is a locum-tenens, contract assignment with on-site work.
