Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner for inpatient cardiothoracic surgery coverage on night shifts with 24-hour call at an on-site Washington facility. Required procedures include general CV/thoracic surgery (open), coronary artery bypass surgery on pump, and valvular repair and replacement. Preferred procedures include aneurysm repair (cardiac and aorto-thoracic), lung resection including VATS, chest wall or pleural procedures, left ventricular assist devices, ventilation management, evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues, and insertion of central lines. Board certification is required.
