Job Summary
Conduct cardiothoracic surgery coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including one weeknight call shift per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM as 2nd Call/Backup. Manage 2-4 surgeries per physician daily, handle consults, and make hospital rounds with limited rounding responsibilities. Maintain all clinical documentation through the EPIC EMR system. Support an outpatient setting with established protocols and coordinated care continuity provided by Physician Associates and APRNs.
