Cardiothoracic Surgeon opportunity at Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph, MO. Join a busy practice with two cardiothoracic surgeons and integrated support from vascular surgery, anesthesiology, cardiology, critical care/hospital medicine, and interventional radiology. Focus on all adult cardiac and lung surgery including TAVR; procedures include mitral valve replacement/repair. DaVinci robotic platform onsite; 1:3 call and a 24-hour nurse hotline. 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient volume (~300+ cases/year). Collaborative team with APP support; relocation benefits offered. Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- cardiothoracic surgical board certification or eligibility
- demonstrated surgical and patient care skills
- experience with TAVR and mitral valve procedures preferred
